Italy and India set to upgrade ties during PM Modi's visit to Rome
Narendra Modi and Giorgia Meloni are set to strengthen diplomatic and trade relations during Modi’s visit to Rome by upgrading India-Italy ties to a special strategic partnership. The visit will focus on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, artificial intelligence and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), a project aimed at improving trade links between India, the Gulf and Europe.
India reviews curbs on non-essential imports to support rupee, boost local manufacturing
