I had an enriching experience conducting the Aptitude Mastery Workshop at SGT UNIVERSITY. The student participation, curiosity, and commitment toward placement readiness were truly commendable.

In my experience recruiting from top campuses, aptitude has consistently been the primary filter — even for job roles where such skills aren’t explicitly required in everyday work. During the session, I also highlighted 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲 to recruitment success in campus placements:

• It is the first filter used by almost every recruiter
• It reflects practical skills — problem solving, analytical thinking, decision-making
• Strong aptitude opens doors to more companies and better job roles
• It helps students differentiate themselves in a competitive hiring environment
• It has proven predictive value in workplace performance beyond just academic scores

Along with these insights, I covered proven aptitude strategies, speed math techniques, and structured reasoning approaches that are essential for excelling in placement assessments.
