Workshop Objective

This 3-hour intensive workshop is designed to help students enhance their quantitative speed and calculation accuracy using proven Vedic Maths techniques and structured problem-solving approaches used by CAT 99+ percentilers.
It aims to improve efficiency in aptitude tests, campus placements, and competitive exams.

Workshop Curriculum

Module 1 – Rapid Calculation Techniques

• Speed enhancement using Vedic methods of addition and subtraction

• Multiplication shortcuts (Vertically and Crosswise, Nikhilam Sutra)

• Fast division and fraction conversions

• Squaring and cubing numbers in seconds

Module 2 – Approximation, Estimation and Mental Math

• Estimation-based problem solving for aptitude and DI

• Simplification of lengthy calculations without pen-paper

• Handling decimals, percentages, and ratios mentally

• Practice drills for rapid mental computation

Module 3 – Speed Application in Aptitude Tests

• Applying Vedic shortcuts to Quantitative Aptitude questions

• Time, Speed, Distance and Work – solving under 30 seconds

• Percentage and Profit-Loss problems using mental logic

• Case-based practice problems from placement tests

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Perform arithmetic operations 5–10× faster using Vedic methods

• Apply mental math to real aptitude and placement problems

• Significantly reduce time per question in quantitative tests
